As a visual artist my work ranges from painting to digital illustration to sculptural objects, with a few transitions in between. But I seem to be mainly interested in ideas: where they come from, how they evolve, and how they effect our experience and actions. Emotions are energetic but ideas direct that energy. Art is a way for me to explore ideas as well as emotions, and how they are related.

"This is the first in a new series of paintings. The subject of water has unconsciously emerged in my work many times over the years so I have decided to address it directly. Water is such an integral part of our lives, and life in general, that we take it for granted, to our own peril. These meditations on the beauty and mystery of water are meant to explore it's relationship to our physical, emotional and spiritual selves."
